RenEnergy | Biomass

RenEnergy currently install pellet, woodchip and log boilers suitable for a wide range of system sizes. Biomass is an excellent way to improve your carbon footprint and reduce your fuel bills.

What is Biomass?

Biomass refers to a variety of plant material fuels including woodchip, pellets and logs that can be burned in a biomass boiler or stove to produce useful energy for space heating and hot water heating.

How do I know if my house is suitable for Biomass?

Every installation has slightly different requirements but the following factors are key:

You will need space: space for the boiler itself, space for fuel storage and space for deliveries. The plant and storage rooms can be external to the building that they’re heating.

Most Biomass boilers need a large amount of fuel to run and will require regular deliveries so you will need to make sure that there’s a suitable fuel supplier near to you, RenEnergy can assist with this as we work with a network of key fuel suppliers across East Anglia.

Biomass boilers are suitable for retrofitting and work well with new builds.
