Installing Commercial Scale PV with RenEnergy
Since RenEnergy was established in 2006 we have installed over 4MW of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels on all kinds of buildings from garages to grain stores so we are able to bring a wealth of experience to PV projects as well as the reassurance of full MCS accreditation.
We have installed some of the largest PV arrays in East Anglia and were the first company to install a 100kW array under the FiT.
RenEnergy are proud to employ industry experts, our dedicated in-house technical, design and installation teams will support you through each stage of your installation from initial survey to commissioning. We are experienced in submitting planning applications, G59 applications, multiple G83 applications and we will assist you with the paperwork necessary to achieve full accreditation so that you can begin saving money the moment your system is switched on.
To ensure that your system retains optimum performance RenEnergy can also offer operation and maintenance assistance. We will monitor your system 24 hours a day to make sure you are always getting the maximum benefits from your panels.
Why Solar PV?There has never been a better time to invest in Solar PV technology. Until April 1st 2012* under the government backed scheme the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) you will be paid for any electricity that you generate whether you are using or not and the free, green electricity feeds directly into your site helping to reduce electricity bills.
By generating your own electricity you are protecting yourself against the rising cost of electricity - as electricity prices continue to increase so you will your savings.
You can find out more about the Feed-in Tariff
here *The FiT is due for review on 1st April 2012 industry predictions suggest that current rates may drop by as much as 20% so act now to benefit from current tariff rates.
Is my site suitable for PV?RenEnergy don’t just install PV on roofs, we offer a variety of
mounting systems meaning that it’s possible to put panels almost anywhere. A detailed site survey will need to be carried out to be 100% of your property’s suitability but there are some key things to consider:
Orientation - to work most efficiently and get the greatest amount of sunlight during the day the panels need to face in a southerly direction, however they are still effective when east and west facing.
Pitch - the ideal roof angle for PV panels is around 30° but it is not essential, RenEnergy can cater to most roof types, including flat roofs but it is important to have a discussion with one of our Technical Sales Consultants about your individual needs in the early stages of your project.
Shading – this will have the greatest impact on the efficiency of your system. Any shading from trees, chimney pots or surrounding roofs will affect the output of your system. Our technical consultants will carry out shading analysis and work with you to avoid it where possible but if Solar PV is not suitable for your home we will tell you.
