Renewable energy solutions SAP and Renenrgy audit

Renenergy has been created to assist property owners, architects, planners and builders to get the most economic and environmental value from a range of renewable energy technologies, not only as a way forward in reducing CO2 emissions but also to contribution in reducing building running costs.

The company selects from a range of ground source and air source heat pumps, solar and biomass technologies to harvest energy from various renewable energy sources. Rather than focus on a single solution, Renenergy takes an holistic approach to installing renewable energy technologies. Renenergy recommendations are made by working with property owners to maximise the benefits of their investment and on the best information available on the energy requirements of the building. We make use of NHER, SAP and Renenergy software to calculate the energy needs of the building and match this to performance characteristics of different systems.

Having extensively researched the market and visited several manufacturing facilities in Europe, Renenergy has secured distribution agreements with leading manufacturers. Consequently we can offer the best equipment for different applications in East Anglia.

Sources of
Renewable Energy

Most renewable energy sources are related directly or indirectly to Solar energy:

Solar energy stored by plants as they produce biomass are harvested and burnt.

Solar energy stored by in the ground water or air and harvested by heat pumps.

Solar energy harvested directly through solar panels on the roof.

Solar energy creating atmospheric heating and resultant wind energy.

Supply & Installation

Renenergy can provide a Renenergy Audit and quote for a specific project. Where quoting on Supply Only, goods are despatched with installation guidance, notes and full parts list. Where quoting to Supply & Install Renenergy will provide timescales for the various phases of the installation and define areas of responsibilities with other contractors.

New Builds & Conversions.

For those embarking on new build and conversion projects Renenergy will work with self-builders, architects and builders to assess plans for SAP analysis. Renenergy can issue official SAP certificates through its NHER accredited and trained staff. This has major benefits for those looking to add value to property through the installation of renewable technologies.

Older Buildings.

It's not simply a case of replacing the output in KWh from a conventional boiler with a biomass boiler or a heat pump Renenergy provide a Renenergy Audit to assess thermal performance of the building and likely heat losses due to lack of insulation and older glazing as well as current heating system design. Renenergy can then estimate running cost savings from installing different renewable energy solutions alone or in combination with existing installations to help property owners make an informed decision.

Economic & CO2 Comparison.

Decisions about the economic and environmental benefit of different solutions can only be made on sound assessment of the energy needs of the building. For new build and conversions the new Planning Regulations L1A came into force in April 2006 and require a SAP Analysis (Standard Application Procedure) to be completed pre and post build.

For older buildings SAP analysis can be done or energy requirements can be back calculated from the known energy usage of the building on provision of gas, electricity and oil usage . Once the energy usage in Giga Joules per year is "known" then the implications of installing different heating and domestic hot water systems can be assessed. Calculations on historic energy and projected energy costs are provided by bespoke Renenergy software, this allows customers to super-impose their own projected energy costs into the model to provide projected energy cost savings and reductions in CO2 emissions for different re-usable energy solutions.

Renenergy is focusing on the provision of some of the leading equipment to harvest these types of renewable energy.
