Bird Brand manufactures and distributes a wide range of building and decorating products under the name of Bird Brand (their family name) that goes back six generations. The company invested in an additional 23,000 square feet of warehousing and with other site improvements, the company is well-placed to see continued growth and improve its capabilities. The Directors remain fully focused on delivering quality products and superior service for many more years to come. In a competitive market, managing operational costs is a priority for Bird Brand. This family-owned wood treatment manufacturer also wished to alleviate concerns about grid resilience due to their rural location.
The solution
RenEnergy designed and installed a bespoke solar roof array for Bird Brand to reduce energy spend. Their energy consumption patterns and the physical environment were analysed in detail.
