How they work
All solar PV panels convert sunlight into electricity. Electricity generated by the panels is converted by using a simple inverter to electrical energy your home can use or can be put back into the electricity grid.
A generation meter is installed as part of every installation and measures the amount of electrical energy generated in kWh. Any electricity generated is bought by the electricity provider regardless of whether it is consumed by the home or is fed back into the ‘grid’. Technology efficiency and payback
