On Roof PV SystemPanels are mounted onto the roof using roof hooks, batons and clamps

Can be retrofitted onto most roof types
In most cases does not require planning permission but you will definitely require permission if you live in a conservation area, a national park or an SSSI.

RenEnergy Agricultural PV InformationIntegrated SystemRenEnergy’s integrated system allows the panels to become the roof structure. The system can be used with any standard PV module and is completely watertight.
Suitable for large scale new builds such as agricultural buildings, industrial buildings and service buildings
In most cases planning permission is not required but it is always worth checking with your local planning department in the early stages of your project.
RenEnergy Integrated Roof InformationFlat Roof SystemPanels are mounted onto frames that are then placed onto a flat roof and weighted down.
The roof needs to be able to take the extra weight and the frames needs to be carefully placed so that the panels don’t shade each other.
These systems will always require planning permission
Static Ground-mounted If your roof doesn’t face South or isn’t big enough for a system that would meet your electricity requirements, it is possible to mount the panels onto frames on the ground.
You will always require planning permission for ground mounted systems.
Tracking systemPanels are mounted onto a frame with a motor and sensors which is called a tracking system. The tracking system points the panels towards the spot in the sky with the greatest solar irradiation which allows the panels to make the most of the sun.
Tracking systems can be up to 35% more efficient than static mounting systems.
Tracking systems always require planning permission
RenEnergy use Deger trackers which are designed and manufactured in Germany.
