RenEnergy are please to announce SolarXchange. The scheme will allow RenEnergy to help 300 homes in Norfolk gain access to free solar-electricity and cut their electricity bills by up to 45%*.

The SolarXchange scheme is possible thanks to the Feed in Tariff scheme introduced by the government in April 2010. If a home is suitable RenEnergy will install solar panels free of charge ; allowing the homeowner to benefit from free electricity that the panels generate, the end result is a 45% reduction in the annual electricity bill.

The solar panels generate electricity during daylight hours. Any electricity generated will be immediately available for use in the home, any not used will be automatically fed back to the grid. In the same way , if the house requires more electricity than the panels can produce, power will automatically be taken from the grid.
