    Key Responsibilities

    Essential Qualifications & Experience

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team or independently.

    • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.

    • Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

    Desirable Qualifications & Experience

    You will be responsible for implementing the delivery of medium to large scale solar PV projects and ensure that milestones and key deliverables are achieved throughout a project’s deliverable life cycle.  You will ensure they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality in both technical achievement and Health and Safety.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Leading solar projects from contract award through to client handover

    • Developing project programmes, monitoring progress and reporting to both the Company directors and your clients

    • Setting up contracts with the supply chain, negotiating terms and briefing Directors

    • Ensuring PV installations are completed by sub-contractors within the programme schedule and budgets as per contract

    • Confident delivery of briefing and coordinating activities on contracts

    • Ensuring compliance of quality and safety of works at all times

    • Effectively managing multiple sites and respective Site Managers

    • Continuously monitoring and maintaining excellent levels of H&S on site

    • Creating and reviewing RAMS, CPPs and other H&S documentation

    • Being fully responsible for the daily operations of the project delivery team

    • Accurate and regular reporting of project performance

    • Attending and report on meetings throughout the project(s)

    • Procuring subcontract labour, materials and ancillary items where necessary in line with company policy and limits of authority

    A solar panel installer will be responsible for installing and servicing solar panels on commercial and utilities buildings and land to ensure they efficiently convert solar power into renewable energy. Full training will be provided.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Fit commercial and industrial solar PV systems on various types of buildings, roof types, ground arrays and car ports.

    • Install mounting brackets, rails and panels on pitched & flat roofs, ground mounted systems and solar carports.

    • Assist with the running of cables, trunking, conduit and cable trays.

    • Aid the electricians in running cables, connecting isolators and assist in installing batteries.

    • Assist in all aspects of the installation of PV panels on the ground, roof and carports.

    • Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.

    • Using a variety of technical equipment and tools.

    About you:

    We are looking for the following skills, knowledge and experience:

    • Previous experience of commercial and utilities installation or engineering is desirable.

    • Must be able to work at height and working outside.

    • Ensuring construction is carried out as per design, following plans and specifications.

    • Identifying materials and equipment that may be required whilst carefully adhering to the Bill of Materials.

    • Managing direct and sub-contractor labour and the day to day running of the site.

    • Organising tools, plan, machinery and materials along with the Project Manager.

    • Accurate and regular reporting of project performance to the Project Manager and client.

    • Maintaining detailed and accurate site reports.

    • Undertaking site inspections as required.

    About you:

    We are looking for the following skills, knowledge and experience:

    • Proven track record of leading a team.

    • Proven experience in construction and site management, experience in renewable industry would be advantageous.

    • Ability to read and interpret electrical designs from specifications and surveys

    • Robust understanding of first aid, site H&S and CDM requirements and a demonstrable understanding of current legislation and regulations

    You will play a pivotal role in shaping our next-generation product offering, designing structures that are not only structurally robust and aesthetically appealing but also fully integrated with modern solar and smart technologies.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design Optimisation

    • Lead the design of innovative, visually attractive, and structurally sound solar carport solutions.

    • Evaluate, refine, and standardise carport foundations and structural systems, including proprietary eSmart and eStream formats.

     Integrated Technology Planning

    • Integrate technologies such as inverters, EV chargers, lighting, and security systems into early-stage carport concepts.

    • Ensure seamless coordination between architectural design and electrical engineering requirements.

    Design System Development

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of CAD-ready, ISO-compliant carport designs suitable for deployment across multiple markets.

    • Ensure all models meet local and international regulations, quality standards, and client specifications.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with procurement, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure that designs are practical and adaptable to real-world conditions.

    • Support vendor selection and material sourcing through technical input and specifications.

    Key Deliverables

    • Standardised templates for structural and foundation systems.

    • Fully integrated modular carport designs with embedded smart technologies.

    • Scalable CAD design library for efficient rollout.

    • Design documentation aligned with site feedback and installation data.

    Commercial Impact

    • Reduce capital costs by eliminating overengineering.

    • Increase installation efficiency through standardised, modular design.

    • Elevate client satisfaction with high-quality, future-ready carport systems.

    • Enhance RenEnergy’s brand through innovation in visual design and technological integration.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Architectural Design, or related discipline.

    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in solar infrastructure, carport design, or structural engineering.

    • Advanced proficiency in CAD, BIM, and structural analysis software.

    • Strong understanding of PV systems, electrical integration, and civil engineering principles.

    • Proven project management experience from concept to implementation.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a dynamic renewable energy or clean-tech environment.

    • Knowledge of international building codes and ISO-compliant design.

    • Familiarity with modular construction and prefabrication principles.
